Be Part of the Island Sound Revolution

Who We Are

Born in the sugar cane fields of Maui, Kani Kine is more than a band, it’s a creative ʻohana built around the rhythm and stories of Hawaii. Our sound blends island reggae, gypsy rumba, and local storytelling, celebrating the people, humor, and heart that make island life unique. From backyard jams to professional studio sessions, every Kani Kine project is created with aloha and powered by local talent.

Always Looking for New Talent

We’re always looking for new creative voices to join our team. Whether you’re a professional musician, a passionate singer, an audio engineer, or a talented videographer ready to help produce music videos and live sessions, we’d love to hear from you. If you have skills in photography, editing, dance, design, or production, there’s a place for you in our ʻohana too.

Send your demos, links, or any information about your experience to:

Fair Pay, Real ʻOhana

Everyone who contributes to a Kani Kine project earns a fixed lifetime percentage of all music or video sales, a true residual share that continues to pay every month as long as the work streams or sells. You’ll always own your credit and continue to earn your share, even while working on other projects. We believe in fair pay, creative freedom, and island collaboration.

Why Join

Work on real songs, videos, and stories that celebrate life in Hawaii. Collaborate with musicians, singers, and creatives across the islands. Earn ongoing residual income for your work. Be part of a community built on aloha and respect.

Let’s Make Music Together

If you live and breathe creativity, we want to hear from you. Send your demo, video, or link and introduce yourself. We’re always looking for the next island voice ready to shine.

Our Mission

We’re on a mission to build something truly Hawaiian, music made by the people, for the people. Kani Kine was born in the sugar cane fields of Maui, where rhythms from all over the world mixed with the heartbeat of the islands.

Our goal is to give local talent a voice, share their stories with the world, and create a fair system where everyone who helps make the music shares in its success.

Each artist, engineer, or creative who joins our ʻohana earns a fixed lifetime percentage of every song they help bring to life. Real credit. Real pay. Real aloha.

Our Vision

We see a future where Hawai‘i’s voices rise together, where young artists, seasoned musicians, and creative dreamers from every island can earn, grow, and be heard around the world.

Kani Kine isn’t about one band, it’s about an island united through rhythm and story. By blending the old plantation sounds with the modern Gypsy Rumba flair, we’re creating a movement that celebrates community, culture, and collaboration.

When the islands sing together, the world listens. 🌈🎶

Our Values

At Kani Kine, we believe creativity should never be limited by contracts or walls. Everyone on our team works as a freelancer, free to chase their own projects, follow their passions, and live their lives, while still earning their fair share from the songs and videos they help create.

Every note, every lyric, every frame of film matters. That’s why we pay each contributor a fixed lifetime percentage of every song they help bring to life, even if they move on to other work or new opportunities.

We’re here to build a true island ʻohana — one that thrives on trust, talent, and aloha.
Work hard. Share fair. Live free. 🌺🤙
